Casey Hudson of BioWare has asked for the opinion of the fans on whether the studio should be looking to events taking place "before the trilogy, or after?" So far the consensus points forward.

A sequel would likely mean the team will have to factor in many player decisions throughout the trilogy, while a prequel would only be constrained to already established canon.

BioWare is offering a unique compensation for gamers who found a Mass Effect 2 disc as disc 2 of their Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 purchase - the developer will give those affected a free copy of Mass Effect Trilogy.

Casey Hudson of BioWare has informed the galaxy of Mass Effect fans that a new title is in development for the series, and they'd really like some feedback on what people would like to see.

Already revealed by the studio is their desire to avoid a new player character echoing Commander Shephard. The design team certainly have a lore buffet to feast off for Mass Effect.

For those gamers who want to figure out what this whole "Mass Effect" thing is, BioWare has released the launch trailer for Mass Effect Trilogy, which is coming out next week on the 6th November in the US and the 9th November worldwide on PC and Xbox 360, and a month later on the PlayStation 3.
