Peter Moore has told investors that they'll be pulling back from Medal of Honor after its poor reception among critics and gamers. They blame the slowdown in the sector and Warfighter's lack of appeal.

The latest entry was an "obvious miss," said Moore, but said it was a "solid" game that just "did not resonate with consumers." EA has a plan to bring "year-over-year continuity" to shooters.

Electronic Arts has announced that the Medal of Honor: Warfighter downloadable content based on the assassination of Osama bin-Laden will be released next week. The DLC will be called "Zero Dark Thirty" in North America, to take advantage of the Kathryn Bigelow film release of the same name, and "The Hunt" in other regions.
