The latest Mortal Kombat game from Warner Bros. is going to be the first game to target serious hardcore/tournament fighters; the developers are already getting constant feedback from Beat 'em up experts.
In an interview withShack News, series creator Ed Boon said, "This is the first Mortal Kombat game where we are consciously putting in features for the hardcore/tournament fighters and we have some amazing fighting game 'experts' playing our game and giving us constant feedback."

Lead designer John Edwards of the new Mortal Kombat, in development at NetherRealm Studios, says they've got "a really robust online" planned.
