This is the most fun I've had with a racing game since Destruction Derby 2. The different vehicles all feel and handle differently, the levels are a work of evil twisted genius, and it's fun to play online. There are two main downsides. The damage looks great but has no effect on the handling of your vehicle. So you can drive around at full pelt in a car that looks written off. The AI also becomes pretty bad once you reach the level 4 races, and its less like racing in a field of competitors and more like racing against a gigantic snake as the vehicles all merge together into one mass. Fortunately playing online does not have those problems and the game holds together well. Overall a great game, and hopefully these niggles can be worked out when it comes to Motorstorm 2.
