Activision has unveiled the new story trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts which debuted at Microsoft's Xbox One reveal event. Developer Infinity Ward showed off the impressive tech that would be going into the PC and next-gen console of the trailer, as well as a Fable-like companion dog.

Dun-dun-duuuun. Car manufacturer McLaren seems to have something to do with the likes of Microsoft's Next Xbox event later today - so it could be Forza Motorsport or Project Gotham related right?

Well, Need for Speed's Facebook also posted a picture of a McLaren to "brighten up" our day, and given that EA and Microsoft are said to be very cosy over the next Xbox for exclusives...

EA Sports has revealed a new Owner Mode for Madden NFL 25, which will put the player in the role of either a new owner or an established owner of an NFL team like Jerry Jones or Bill Polian.

Devolver Digital is rebooting Shadow Warrior, the infamously politically incorrect (to the point of offensive) first person shooter from 1997, but will be ditching the racism and sexism from the game - as well as multiplayer.

After a failed attempt to modernize Call of Juarez, the series returns to its Old West roots with Gunslinger, with plenty of quick draws and black hats to spare. The game is out for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Lo Wang is back as Devolver Digital has announced a remake of the classic 1997 3D Realms shooter Shadow Warrior. The game is being developed by Flying Wild Hog, which made the sci-fi shooter Hard Reset.

The full CGI rumble between Batman and Deathstroke has been released by Warner Brothers, and it's full of fist punches, broken blades, sniper shots, dockyards and villainous boasting.

They've already revealed that Deathstroke is to be a "fully playable character" in challenge mode if you get the Deathstroke pre-order pack. Batman: Arkham Origins releases October 25th.

Capcom may very well be announcing Resident Evil 7 next month at E3 in California if an alleged promotional poster still in the design phase is to be believed. It's best you keep that rumour-mill salt lick nearby.

Again, if the poster is to be believed, then Resi Evil 7 has the tag 'The War Ends Now'. Of course this could all be some 12-year-old on a sugar high playing around with Photoshop.

In the latest developer diary for The Last of Us, Naughty Dog discusses the impact of the post-pandemic world on Joel and Ellie and how the two cope with such a harsh environment.

The Last of Us gives the player the experience of "moment to moment" survival, where we'll witness "stark consequences" to our every decision. There are two more planned dev diaries.

The UK all format chart has been taken over by publisher Deep Silver as Metro: Last Light debuts atop the ladder, followed by Dead Island: Riptide, who has only just been demoted from the chart throne.

EA's FIFA 13 came third, with Nintendo's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity after that. Injustice: Gods Among Us slips from fourth to eighth. BioShock Infinite is tenth.
