Q-Games: Steam "most appropriate" for PixelJunk 1-6, not abandoning PlayStation

Developer Q-Games is known for their digital releases through the PlayStation Network, which is why their latest project 1-6 has given fans of the studio such a stark awakening; it's for PC.

Specifically 1-6 will be released through Steam, because it "gives us the freedom" to be "completely transparent" in the development process. It's the "best platform around" right now for iteration.

PixelJunk blowout sale on PSN from 8th-15th May

Sony has announced that for the next week, in preparation for the upcoming PixelJunk 4AM, there will be a blowout of PixelJunk titles on PlayStation Network starting the 8th May for a week. Some of the games will be as low as $1.

PixelJunk SideScroller releases October 26th on PSN in Europe

This week PixelJunk SideScroller will be gracing our European PlayStation Network as it releases for some "really, really good old school fun" from Q-Games.

SideScroller uses the same engine as the studio's two Shooter titles, but it's a "single-stick controlled" game. Q-Games have even given us some back-story.

Dylan Cuthbert, boss of Q-Games, has teased a single image for his upcoming game which is expected to debut next week during a talk at Casual Connect.

The teaser hints we'll be managing some resources and building things in Q-Games latest offering. It's also a very colourful title with smooth edges.

EU PlayStation Store adds L.A. Noire's Reefer Madness DLC

It's here - this week's European update to the PlayStation Store. High on the list is the 'Reefer Madness' Vice Case DLC for Team Bondi and Rockstar's L.A. Noire.

Then there's a demo for PixelJunk Shooter 2 and ModNation Racers gets the Gladiator Props Pack. Dead Nation is now a Trial & Unlock title, except in Germany.
