Portal 2 is the sequel to the title named "Game of the Year" 2007 by over 30 publications around the world. Portal 2 promises to break new ground in next generation gaming by expanding the award-winning recipe of innovative gameplay, immersive story, and creative inclusion of music while also introducing multiplayer co-op game modes.

|Publisher EA is shaking things up and among the casualties list is apparently the EA Partners label which saw third-party developers have their work signed up for distribution through EA's retail channels.
The likes of Crysis, Left 4 Dead, Portal 2, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Bulletstorm and Rock Band all passed through the program, but now it faces the chop in the pursuit of streamlining.

|Portal 2 update adds split-screen co-op with Big Pict... (2)|
|Valve has updated Portal 2 so that now it finally matches console versions for split-screen co-op functionality. This is good science as it means PC gamers can enjoy Big Picture a lot more.
Big Picture is of course Valve's update to Steam so that PCs support being connected to TVs, as they make it easy to play your PC games and use Steam through just a controller.

|Portal 2 In Motion ready for PSN launch (0)|
|Sixense will launch Portal 2's In Motion DLC on November 6th. The PSN DLC will be controlled exclusively with motion control, and will be priced at $9.99.
PlayStation Plus users will also receive 30% off for a short period of time. The extra content is releasing alongside Portal 2's digital download on PSN, which also includes motion control. If you own the original game on PS3 already, a small patch will add the new control set.
