Resident Evil 6 pre-order maps now available
Resident Evil 6's Mercenary maps are now available to download from console marketplaces. Originally only available to those who pre-ordered the game, each map can be picked up for 80 Microsoft Points, or $0.99 on PSN.

Resident Evil 6 for many fans (and reviewers) is considered the nadir of what is perceived as a declining series, which originated as a survivor horror title and slowly morphed into a third person shooter/action style of game.

Capcom is listening to player feedback regarding Resident Evil 6. The company is set to release a free update for Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game in mid-December.

If you're playing Resident Evil 6 then be sure to link your account to ResidentEvil.net because Capcom have officially started their first global event where zombie stomps earn RE points.
The player with the most zombie kills under their belt will earn a huge 50k points, which can then be spent unlocking game goodies through RE.net, tease Capcom. They're "ironing out" issues.

Capcom confirms on-disc DLC for Resident Evil 6 following fan mod

Capcom acknowledges that there is "on-disc data" specifically related to future Resident Evil 6 content, which must combine with "downloaded data" at launch. A fan mod exposed the content.
There will be announcements made for RE6 DLC in the coming months but "virtually all such content" will not be on-disc, except "one piece of content" that is partially on-disc for "technical reasons".
