505 Games has announced the Game of the Year Edition of Sniper Elite V2 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is now available. The game runs 29.99 GBP / 39.99 euro.

Rebellion teases 'new PC project' out February 14th

Sniper Elite's Rebellion has released a teasing trailer devoid of any title, but full of a silhouetted guy carrying a large rifle, running a lot through deserted streets which appear suspiciously from the WW2 era.

There also appears to be another theme that shuffles on screen briefly. Are Rebellion bringing undead hordes to Sniper Elite with a DLC release? The evidence is damning.

A secret fuel depot in the Harz Mountains is the focus of new content for Sniper Elite V2, which releases today as the Neudorf Outpost DLC for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC.

They describe this as the "biggest mission" so far with players assigned to eliminate sentries, plant charges and slip away. We get three new weapons to give those Germans some trouble.

505 Games and Rebellion today announced that it's released online multiplayer support, free of charge, for anyone that owns their European World War II action game, Sniper Elite V2.

The Multiplayer Expansion DLC offers 4 new gameplay modes (Deathmatch/ Team Deathmatch/ Distance King/ Team Distance King) across 6 maps (Mountain Pass, Quarry, Graves, OpernPlatz, Church and Kreuzberg) and will support 2-8 players via Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network.

May 2012 US sales down 28% over last year despite Diablo III

Diablo III became the first PC game to lead US videogame sales since Starcraft II two years ago, but it wasn't enough to prevent sales from suffering a 28% drop from May 2011 to May 2012, according to the NPD Group. This has been a trend in dipping sales for the past few months, starting with February 2012's 20% drop from February 2011.
