Sorcery released with US PlayStation Store update

There's a good dose of awesome sauce with this week's US PlayStation Store update. The long awaited PlayStation Move title Sorcery is finally released as a full digital title.

Also joining the PS3 Games list is Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition. A healthy offering of SEGA classics arrive like Alex Kidd Miracle World and Wonder Boy In Monster Land.

PlayStation Move ships 10.5m units

Sony engineer Gabe Ahn wouldn't reveal how many PlayStation Move units had actually sold to consumers, but did reveal that 10.5m had at least been shipped out to retailers.

That includes the Navigation Controllers. During GDC Ahn stated that Sony saw Move as "successful" for the company. They've got plans for it still with titles like Sorcery due in May.

Sony has announced that Sorcery, which was supposed to be a PlayStation Move launch title in 2010, will finally be arriving on the 22nd May.

Sony's Eric Levine has affirmed that PlayStation 3 title Sorcery, designed for PlayStation Move and shown at E3 2010, is still very much alive. More information is due soon.

In fact Sorcery will be "fully playable" at the Sony Holiday Showcase this December in New York City. They'll be giving hands-on time for the very first time in its development.

One of the more exciting games that was promised for the PlayStation Move was the magic wand action title, Sorcery. The player's Move would be used like a wand, with the player's actions mimicked on the screen by the hero.
