Yager license Unreal Engine 4, Spec Ops dev will unveil in "coming months"
Spec Ops: The Line developer Yager have signed on the dotted line to use Epic's new fancy Unreal Engine 4 technology for a "major next-generation title" that will be unveiled in "the coming months."

This month, gritty third-person shooter Spec Ops: The Line will be free for PlayStation Network Plus subscribers. In addition, Joe Danger: The Movie and The Cave will be free as well.

The online component for Spec Ops: The Line seriously irks lead designer Cory Davis from developer Yager because it's something the team didn't want, and was in fact handled by another studio.
2K Games "was relentless" in securing multiplayer made it in despite being "literally a check box" feature. Online was "never a focus" and game mechanics "were raped" to fit in multiplayer.

2K Games has announced that the free co-op multiplayer DLC is now available for download for their military third-person shooter Spec Ops: The Line.

Telltale Games' LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes is yet again atop the UK all format chart, making this its third consecutive week despite moving 30% less units for the seven days.
London 2012: The Official Video Game has nudged up to 2nd, and has seen sales climb 81%. At 3rd it's The Amazing Spider-Man from Activision and Beenox. Spec Ops: The Line 4th.
