Star Wars 1313 was cancelled by Disney during its closing of LucasArts, but it can still be revived, according to a rep - provided the new publisher pays them for the license, develops it themselves, and gives Disney a cut in the profits.

There's a disturbance in the force and it's called Disney. It seems another title maybe clinging to life after the Mickey Mouse executives bought LucasArts and all the IP. A predecessor to Battlefront III could be cancelled.

Apparently the leaked Star Wars: First Assault on Xbox.com was LucasArts ready to test the water for a full blown follow-up to Battlefront. It was a digital only title that was due this spring.

According to those Sony German Facebooking types, LucasArts' Star Wars 1313 will be releasing on PlayStation 3 sometime this year. No platform has been officially announced for the title.

Much speculation has swirled around the action title being for the next generation of platforms, given its impressive visual fidelity. Some even believe it will release for both.
