Capcom: Projected shipping numbers for Dragon's Dogma at 1.5 million

In a Q4 FY2012 presentation slide, Capcom has confirmed expected shipping numbers for many of its upcoming games.

Dragon's Dogma is expected to ship 1.5 million units when it's released next year for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is developed by Devil May Cry 3 director Hideaki Itsuno.

Capcom has announced six more of the fighters that players can use in Street Fighter X Tekkem.

From Capcom's Street Fighter come series regulars Ken, Guile and Abe;, and from Namco-Bandai's Tekken side are King, Marduk and Bob. They join already announced characters Ryu, Chun-Li, Kazuya and Nina Williams.

Sorry but don't go expecting Darkstalkers 4 and the next Capcom vs. SNK anytime soon as Christian Svensson of Capcom says they're taxed right now.

They've got Street Fighter X Tekken, SSFIV 3D, SF3: Third Strike Online, MvC3 and "maybe something else" already on the go. They "don't have the resources".

Yoshinori Ono is producer of universe cross-over Street Fighter x Tekken, and it won't take 2 years anymore to reach us. They're shaving off time.

Capcom's Keiji Inafune "literally kicked my arse," said Ono-san and so the team will work faster. All brawler franchises are "doing really well."

Publihser Capcom aren't satisfied with just 2 major launches a year, they won't 3 or 4 to help beat the decline in sales. More zombies for all.

Franchises like Resident Evil will be getting more studio attention, even outside Japan as Capcom will be looking to US and EU developers.
