Capcom date Street Fighter x Tekken online sound patch, goes live April 10th

The sound issues that have been plaguing Street Fighter x Tekken during online matches will be patched this April 10th, finally addressing the irritating bug which was a result of netcode.

The Tournament Support update will also launch at the same time letting players use a new wheel system, speeding up gem selection. Also for fans is the Swap Costume DLC.

This week's North American PlayStation Update includes five games available for free on PlayStation Plus, as well as the release of Wheels Of Destruction, The Price Is Right Decades and I Am Alive on PSN.

Also on PSN this week are demos for Warp and Time Machine, as well as one for I Am Alive. The major downloadable content released for this week include discounts for Mortal Kombat DLC.

Capcom has confirmed reports that some nosy gamers have managed to crack open Street Fighter X Tekken and find it's unreleased, on-disc DLC and using it during online matches.

Already they're "working on bans for boxes and accounts" with Microsoft - calling the hackers "quite ballsy" as they red flag themselves for tampered Xbox 360s. 12 characters locked.

Capcom's assistant producer Tomoaki Ayano for Street Fighter x Tekken has said "time and resource issues" are to blame for no local co-op online support for the Xbox 360 version.

On PS3 gamers can buddy up in a pair and take on another pair online, but it's not supported for Xbox 360. There are always times to "make tough decisions" during development.

Journey and Warp now on US PlayStation Store

This week's US PlayStation Store has thatgamecompany's Journey and EA's Warp front and centre, ready for the North American PS3 crowd to devour at $14.99 and $9.99 respectively.

Also debuting this week on PSN: Shoot Many Robots, and Time Machine: Rogue Pilot. Uncharted 3 gets co-op DLC and Mega Man & Pac-Man hit Street Fighter X Tekken for free.
