Publisher Square Enix are up to something and it looks back catalogue related. They've said they wanted to "digitize" their "catalogue titles" in their fiscal 2011 report.
Fans speculate that Masterpieces will likely mean classic titles will be getting a HD facelift for new platforms. Kingdom Hearts became a 'Masterpiece' in Japan.
