What significance does that beefy 8GB GDDR5 RAM make to PlayStation 4 development? Well, Guerrilla Games reveal their Killzone: Shadow Fall PS4 demo only gobbled up half of it despite all the action.

The truth maybe that Guerrilla was unaware of the full 8GB as Sony kept it secret from third-parties until the official announcement, commented Just Add Water's Stewart Gilray.

The upcoming Killzone title is going with a colon'ed subtitle Shadow Fall rather than a 4. According to Guerrilla Games managing director Herman Hulst, it's due to it being on the next-gen PlayStation 4.

Back at the E3 2005, the "target video" showing of Killzone 2 for the PlayStation 3 gave developer Guerilla Games no end to headaches, as Sony gave the studio an impossible task of matching the lifelike CGI in the video.

The studio maintains that the Killzone: Shadow Fall trailer shown at the PlayStation 4 reveal was all real.

Sony revealed a new Killzone game for the PlayStation 4 for their "See the Future" conference. The game is titled Killzone Shadow Fall, and will be a launch title for the console.
