It seems Kevin Conroy will be returning to voice The Dark Knight after all, as he announced he would be doing the role for Batman: Arkham Origins at Dallas Comic Con. It had been previously announced he wouldn't be playing the younger version of Batman.

BoxOfficeMojo.com, film supersite, has listed the Assassin's Creed film for the 22nd May 2015. The movie will star Prometheus actor Michael Fassbinder as protagonist Altair, and being written by Michael Lesslie, who prior to this project has chiefly done film shorts.

Focus Home date Wargame: AirLand Battle's release May 31st. They also tease the Dynamic Campaign at the heart of the strategy game, which is a follow-up to European Escalation.

Battle groups are dispatched via a theatre map, where you can jump in for real-time conflict. Units are "persistent all along the campaign" and yes, the campaign supports multiplayer.

City Interactive release first teaser for arcade shooter Alien Rage

Polish studio City Interactive is ready to show us their first official teaser for Alien Rage, a first-person arcade shooter which will be showcasing this June at E3 in California. It's releasing for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Later this year it will be available via digital distribution. Alien Rage was previously 'Alien Fear', and they tell us it's a "hardcore sci-fi shooter" with 21 enemy types and 8 "bad-ass" bosses.

Ta-dah! Hideo Kojima revealed during his HideRadio podcast that the cyborg ninja Raiden will be coming to PC in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Developer Platinum Games confirms the news.

When this port will actually happen wasn't disclosed, nor were any specific details about the process involved. This is great news at least for PC fans of the Metal Gear series.

Total War: Rome II "fastest pre-ordered" in series, "six times" greater than Shogun 2

SEGA has revealed a most pleasing statistic for Total War fans - proving the franchise is stronger than ever. Total War: Rome II is the "fastest" for pre-orders in the entire series history, easily besting Shogun 2.

In fact Rome II tallied "six times" the pre-orders its first official week than Shogun 2 managed. SEGA also boast of good pre-order levels for the "exclusive and highly-limited" Collector's Edition.

A fresh new screen of Grand Theft Auto V has been released from the clutches of the Rockstar Games' marketing department. In this one we see scuba diving backed by an underwater submersible.

It almost looks like a wreck of some kind in the background, which are meant to be explorable and possibly plunderable, tease Rockstar. The official website has updated their gallery.

Los Angeles-based Pantera Entertainment has managed to reach their goal of $80,000 on Kickstarter for Theme Park Studio, which they bill as a simulation. We get to design and create amusement parks and rides.

Any pledge over $50 gets in on the beta - a standard affair these days. The team also plan to support the Oculus Rift VR headgear to hopefully get us scared of our own creations.

Star Trek Online begins "pre-patching" for Legacy of Romulus launch

The addition of the Romulus race is almost upon the Star Trek Online community as Perfect World begins pre-patching through the MMO's launcher. The next expansion officially releases May 21st.

It lets you create Romulan characters in all-new story-driven missions. This also adds Warbird Class starships to captain. There are also new improved traits and an improved UI.

In an exclusive dev diary posted by Sony, some top Blizzard staffers are talking about the experience the studio has gone through with bringing Diablo III to PS3 & 4 - taking them away from mouse and keyboard.

They're adamant the controller lets us feel 'intimately connected' with our characters, which is the most critical component of the entire enterprise. "...the controller is king."
