Kevin Conroy not Batman in Arkham Origins but in "new Arkham game"

Voice actor Kevin Conroy recently said at Dallas Comic Con he was Batman once again, which led everyone more or less to believe he was reviving his role in Batman: Arkham Origins due out this fall. Not so.

Arkham Origins' Batman is to be voice by Ezio Auditore's Roger Craig Smith. Conroy apparently is voicing Batman in a "new Arkham game coming soon," so at least we have that.

Kalypso announces free update to Omerta coming 23rd May

Kalypso Media has announced that a free gameplay update will be coming to the PC version of its mob sim Omerta: City of Gangsters tomorrow, the 23rd May. The update will install automatically when players boot the game.

EA to discuss Disney partnership over Star Wars at E3

EA's Frank Gibeau has confirmed that the publisher will be talking about their Star Wars plans during E3. DICE has recently setup a new studio in Los Angeles to tackle the licensing partnership.

They'll be showcasing Battlefield 4, Need for Speed, their EA Sports catalogue as well as a "first look at our plans" for the Star Wars universe. EA is releasing 11 major titles in fiscal 2014.

Balls! Kicking them around the pitch on FIFA 14 won't be as lovely on PC I'm afraid as EA community manager Rob Hodson confirms the desktop version will use the current engine found in FIFA 13.

The new fancy Ignite engine that EA Sports gave a glimpse to yesterday is reserved for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Fans are naturally upset especially as the consoles and PC are closer than ever.

Warner Brothers have announced they are to publisher Dead Island developer Techland's next major project called Dying Light, which features an open world with scavenging by day and survival by night.

Night-time brings with it increasingly dangerous levels of infected to beat back, using the gear and supplies we've scrapped together. It's for current and next-gen, as well as PC.

Far Cry 3 editor now includes Blood Dragon content

World of Tanks update 8.6 a "major step" in game balancing

Wargaming.net is revamping artillery in their 8.6 update for World of Tanks as the studio looks to make advancing through that class "more comfortable for players." It'll have a "normal ten tier structure" to follow.

That means that tier 8 SPGs are bumped up to tier X, while the newly introduced SPGs will fill in the space left in the middle tiers. A new British tank is also being added.

If there's a reason for gamers not to worry about being able to buy or sell used games without having a fee charged to them, GameStop has provided one, since the videogame retailer has made much of its profits in buying and selling them.

Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen teased during the Stifel 2013 Technology Conference that one of the Star Wars-license titles in development is a new Star Wars: Battlefront title. Star Wars: Battlefront was the licensed variation of Battlefield 1942.

It's official as EA now confirms the existence of Need for Speed: Rivals after a Frostbite developer tweeted about it a little earlier. The next instalment is being handled by Ghost Games. It's focusing on cops and racers.

We can choose to play as either with challenges and collectibles strewn through the world. In Rivals we rise in the ranks using all our pursuit and evade tricks. AllDrive has friends drop-in and out.

A Kickstarter by Fly Anvil is taking their Decision series into the Medieval timeline as they go from shooter to hack-and-slash. We need to defend our medieval town from horrible monsters through action and strategy.

We need to restore and control defensive towers, organising workers to repair and upgrade them, as well as lead our Knight into battle securing the town and training militia.

Maxis has released the 4.0 update for SimCity, and one of the additions included in the patch is a special park that only early adopters will receive. Other fixes include an improvement of emergency response time and the Edgewater Bay region.
