According to developers inXile, "less than half" of the full game is currently available in the beta version of Wasteland 2. According to Joystiq, a major new update coming next week will add "most of the Arizona portion of the game."

Gearbox Software boss Randy Pitchford has said Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel isn't as big as Borderlands 2, which receives its final DLC today. However it is "as big, or a little bigger" than the original, he believes.

It's floating somewhere between the two, where much of the game is focused on the moon orbiting Pandora, the world where Borderlands has been set in both games.

Western JRPG Earthlock: Festival of Magic funded, pledges over $180k

Norwegian studio Snowcastle Games toasts to success their Kickstarter for Earthlock: Festival of Magic, a JRPG from a developer crammed full of JRPG fans, particularly from the PSone era.

They asked for $150k to achieve their campaign but total pledges reached $180k for the orchestral score stretch goal. Snowcastle are holding open the campaign until the end of May.

Special events are scheduled for Anno Online and The Settlers Online as Ubisoft celebrates Easter, the holiday of the sacred chocolate egg hiding bunny rabbit. Easter Eggs are dotted all over the land.

There are also special Easter-themed buildings to be unlocked. The Easter Event begins today and runs until April 29th for Anno Online. The Raving Rabbids Statue returns for The Settlers.

Another new release today is Jane Jensen's Moebius: Empire Rising, a paranormal adventure game for PC and Mac. It's a "story-driven interactive thriller" and first in an original series from Phoenix Online Publishing.

This point and click adventure is full of puzzles and we play as an antiques dealer and historian, contracted by a secretive agency. What could be fishy about that?

The first major content update in Take On Mars' new chapter has released with Expedition One marking the game's first manned mission to the Red Planet, following our time remotely controlling a probe.

Today Paradox Interactive officially release Fatshark's War of the Vikings across multiple digital stores for PC, and release an additional five maps to play with axes and beards on. This close-quarter combat game has three editions.

War of the Vikings has already been available to play as an early access version. Three classes and multiple game modes support up to 64 players in this Nordic axe-grinder.

Pantheon MMO production slows as initial funds "depleted"

High fantasy MMO Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen will be slowing down in production as the initial crowd-funds "have depleted," and so the team is relying on securing more funds before it can pick up again.

There'll get "much-needed studio space" once funding has been found for Pantheon, and so until then the game will progress slowly and they'll focus attention on the website.

It's been a good couple of weeks for record-breaking game runs. Spelunky player YamaYamaDingDong has set a new world record final score of $3,109,850, in a run timed at four hours and 45 minutes.

There's a new trailer for Ubisoft's upcoming 2D RPG Child of Light, that shows the gorgeous environments that players will explore in the fantasy world of Lemuria.

Interestingly, the video also shows our hero Princess Aurora growing older as she travels across the world. We'd previously only seen her as a little girl.

Boy, are there going to be some red faces if Star Citizen turns out to not be very good. In a post on the game's website yesterday, creator Chris Roberts revealed that the game has made the frankly ridiculous sum of over $42 million from crowdfunding since it was announced back in 2012.

Zombie Studios' survival horror game Daylight is out on April 29 for PC and PS4, and the developers have released two new videos showcasing its creepy abandoned hospital setting.

Levels in Daylight are procedurally generated, meaning that each fresh playthrough features an entirely different layout with new puzzles, maps and scares.
