Activision today announced Men In Black: Alien Crisis will land in stores on 25th May.

Players take on the role of new recruit Peter Delacoeur, an MiB agent who probably isn't as cool as Will Smith.

The creative minds behind Sam & Max have announced they've been working on another point & click adventure. To cool people the latest creation is known as 'SBCG4AP' as cool people are just cool.

The five-episode series will arrive this June and is based upon the Homestar Runner Internet cartoon.

Disney is enjoying huge success with their original television series Hannah Montana with over 23 million homes in Europe tuning in. They've decided to bring the young pop star to three platforms; each innovative music-inspired title will let fans interactive with their favourite characters.

Hannah Montana: Music Jam for Nintendo DS and Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour will be arriving this spring in April on the 25th. The PS2 version of Spotlight World Tour will arrive much later during autumn this year.

EA and Spielberg announce Boom Blox for Wii

EA has announced that the first game developed in collaboration between EA and director and producer Steven Spielberg will be “Boom Blox”, exclusive to the Wii and mobile formats this action/puzzle game will feature 300 levels, a cast of more than thirty wacky characters, and an easy-to-use in-game editor that allows players to express their creativity.

“I am a gamer myself, and I really wanted to create a video game that I could play with my kids,” said Steven Spielberg. “BOOM BLOX features an enormous amount of fun challenges and cool scenarios for your kids to solve or for you to master together.”

South Peak publishing Runaway: Dream of the Turtle for the Wii?

South Peak Interactive could be set to release a Wii version of Runaway: Dream of the Turtle after the DS version has been released. It's currently available to PC users but was announced for the DS last year.

EB Games has a listing for the game under its Wii section with a release date of 1st April 2008. We don't know how they'll take advantage of the Wii remote or if this is actually true yet.

American McGee working on project that uses the Unreal 3 engine

American McGee's blog has revealed that the developer is working on a second project which will use the Unreal 3 engine. It'll be a full release with a big publisher and should appear on multiple platforms. McGee promises it will be a twisted tale.

This unannounced game is currently in development by Spicy house which is currently located in China. We expect an official announcement once the publisher that is helping develop this title is ready.

Japanse gamers reporting problems with Smash Bros. Brawl discs

According to a statement by Nintendo, many gamers have sent complaints to Nintendo about their Wii's being unable to read the discs for the newly released Smash Bros. Brawl, which isn't out in Europe or America yet.

This is only currently effecting Smash Bros. Brawl because its the first game to feature a dual layer DVD, which Nintendo says is more sensitive to a dirty lens and puts dirt and dust to blame for these problems.

Ubisoft developing new Prince of Persia title?

Ubisoft's recent financial documents reveal that Prince of Persia could be making a return to the video game world sometime in 2008 or 2009, but no information like a planned name or what platforms it'll appear on were mentioned.

It's likely that Ubisoft will take ideas from Assassin's Creed and implement them into the Prince of Persia world, resulting in a ground breaking game if done correctly.

NiK NaK launch with Dragonology and Wizardology development deal from Codemasters

NiK NaK, the new Guildford based studio from Kuju Entertainment, announced today that its first titles developed for the Wii will be Dragonology and Wizardology which will be published by Codemasters.

The action games are based on the ‘Ology series of books from Templar Publishing, which have sold over 15 million copies worldwide. Dragonology explores the study and conservation of dragons, while Wizardology is a manual of spells and magical information, purported to be written by the legendary magician Merlin.

Zavvi set to expand games area

Zavvi has told MCV that they'll be increasing their games area by 15 percent, taking shelf space from the music section.

The reason for this increase is because during the Christmas season the store saw a big increase in the amount of game products that got sold. This will mark the second time its increased its range of gaming products.

Nintendo of America reveals release date list

Nintendo of America has released a huge list that contains release dates for their upcoming Wii and DS games as well as some third party ones that are currently in development. These dates aren't for the European version, unfortunately for us they are US dates but they should give us a good idea of when they are nearing release in the UK.

We would like to point out some of our favorite ones on this list for the Wii, Alone in the Dark is coming in March from Atari, Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel from Nintendo are set to arrive in spring and LucasArts LEGO: Indiana Jones is also set for a release in spring whilst Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be hitting stores in the summer.

Game's acquisition of Gamestation almost complete

The Competition Commission has confirmed that Game's acquisition of Gamestation is almost set and that the market shouldn't expect to see any substantial lessening of competition for the supply of gaming software, consoles and related accessories in the UK.

Game said: "The board of The GAME Group is pleased to note that the Competition Commission, in its final report published today, has unconditionally cleared the completed acquisition of Gamestation,"

Sam & Max not hitting the Wii, just yet

Yesterday we reported that a German press release from JoWood confirmed that Sam & Max, the point and click comedy crime pair, would be making an appearance on the Wii. But, the developer of the PC series of episodic releases has now said that they have not confirmed this for the Wii.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Delayed, new date March 9th

Nintendo has revealed that a delay for Super Smash Bros. Brawl in US and Japan has been set, it'll now be released on March 9th 2008; a month later than the previous date which was originally set for February 10th.

We've been receiving daily updates on Super Smash Bros. Brawl for sometime now, screenshots and other important information are revealed in these updates, so fans are extremely excited about this title and will be disappointed by the delay. Nintendo knows this and for that reason they've issued an apology on the official website which reads....

JoWooD Germany has issued a press release that confirms the recent rumours about Sam & Max appearing on the Wii.

Due to the press release being in German, we can't get much information about the Wii version but hopefully they'll issue an English version soon. We've contacted JoWooD to find out so we should have more for you later.

Tomb Raider: Underworld delayed

Eidos announced this morning that they'll also be developing Tomb Raider: underworld for the Wii, DS and PS2. Originally it was only announced for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, but due to these changes the release date has been pushed back to Q4 2008.
