This is ironically the lowest score for Mario Galaxy out of all magazines/websites according to Gamerankings:

How the gameplay gets an 8, I'll never know. GotY contender for sure. No-one delivers innovative gameplay like Ninty.

I think this goes down as one of the best games of all time, probably behind Ocarina of Time, so maybe I'd be a tad biast and score it higher!
