Ace Combat: Assault Horizon coming to PC Q1 2013

Namco Bandai is bringing the flight arcade action of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon to PC early next year, with singleplayer, co-op and online dogfights. This is the first time it takes flight on desktops.

They'll also be re-releasing Ace Combat: Assault Horizon digitally via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The PC version is an Enhanced Edition with controls and graphics "optimized specifically".

Namco Bandai has announced that some new downloadable planes will be available next week on the 29th November for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. The DLC contains two new planes and two reskinned planes. Each of the planes must be purchased separately.

Forza Motorsport 4 unseats FIFA 12 in UK chart, PES 2012 fifth

Last week saw a handful of new releases but Xbox 360 racer Forza Motorsport 4 left the rest of the UK all format chart in the dust as it launched first place.

FIFA 12 came second with sales down 62% in its third week. Just Dance 3 entered 3rd, PES 2012 5th, and Beenox's Spider-Man: Edge of Time came 39th.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon Demo releasing soon [Update: now available]

Namco Bandai has announced that a playable single player demo will be released for Ace Combat Assault Horizon on 13th September for North American and 14th September for Europe. You will be able to download it from the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace.

In the jet fighter mission, players will step into the shoes of the game's hero Bishop for the first time and engage in an intense dogfight over sun-kissed Miami.

The latest gameplay video for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon shows off ten minutes of pure in-game helicopter combat gameplay.

The video shows off the tutorial stage for helicopter control, so the enemies aren't fierce, but you can bet things will get hairy later in the game.
