XBLA Alan Wake title is 'Alan Wake's American Nightmare', says German ratings
Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment's upcoming standalone XBLA Alan Wake title has been named by the German ratings board, which is due to be revealed at the Spike VGAs.
Now unless Remedy has another Alan Wake surprise close to release, then the XBLA game is called 'Alan Wake's American Nightmare'. This Saturday we'll know for sure.

Yesterday, GameTrailer's Geoff Keighley claimed that Alan Wake: Night Springs was so large, it might as well be Alan Wake 2. Today, Alan Wake developer Remedy refuted that analogy, stating that while Night Springs was "ambitious", it was not Alan Wake 2.

Remedy Entertainment is developing Alan Wake for a digital release on Xbox Live Arcade, with it rumoured to be subtitled 'Bright Falls'. It's "not a small game," says Geoff Keighley.
The GameTrailers TV host calls it "really ambitious, beautiful technology" and that it's "effectively" Alan Wake 2. It'll debut at the Spike VGAs which is held this Saturday in TV land.

Since it was announced that the Alan Wake followup, Alan Wake: Night Springs, would be an Xbox Live Arcade title, fans have expressed concern that the game wouldnt be the full experience the original Alan Wake was. Developer Remedy is reassuring fans that they won't be "cheated" out of content.
