| Publisher EA holds the rights to American McGee's Alice, a darker and crazier spin on Alice in Wonderland. McGee has taken to Facebook asking if fans would chip in their pledges if he could get the IP back. The last entry was Alice: Madness Returns in 2011 which didn't perform well commercially. Earlier this year McGee remarked EA has 'mis-marketed' the game, before shortly retracting his comments. |

| Alice: Madness Returns was published by EA who "tricked" gamers into thinking it was a bloody horror action game, and not just a dark and twisted journey down the rabbit hole, said American McGee. However the creator would now like to 'take back' his criticism of EA as his publishing partner for Alice: Madness Returns. McGee was surprised his words "ignited a firestorm" and irritated EA. |
