Ubisoft has released the world gameplay premiere trailer for Assassin's Creed III, which features over 2 mintues of gameplay footage from a pre-alpha build.

UbiSoft wants 1,776,000 tweets and shares to unlock Assassin's Creed 3 gameplay video

UbiSoft is asking players on the official Facebook page to unlock the full gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed III.

To unlock it, gamers have to make 1,776,000 Facebook shares and Twitter posts to get it. As of this writing, the meter is 1/4 full.

Early concept art shows female star for Assassin's Creed

Back in November 2004 there were some early concept works with a female protagonist for Assassin's Creed, showing off some initial but discarded ideas that were floating around Ubisoft.

All were produced by Khai Nguyen, and some featured co-op gameplay, a female lead and even child protection. There's also an early rendition of the hidden blade.

All those people milling about in Assassin's Creed III? They're way better that those slobs in AC: Revelations. These 'new' people like to get on with their day, not just talk all day long.

Crowd AI now lets its members be "attracted to areas or interactions," and then move on into another sequence. Animals are the "'crowd' of the wilderness" and they too have lives to live.

Ubisoft supports UK's GAME with exclusive Assassin's Creed III edition

Now that retailer GAME is 'safe' in the UK high street, Ubisoft has announced a GAME Exclusive Edition which includes a bonus mission and weapon priced at £39.99 for consoles.

However Gamestop are also getting wooed with The Freedom Edition, offering two bonus missions and figurine. Ubisoft also revealed the Join or Die version which isn't exclusive.
