Author sues Ubisoft over Assassin's Creed for 'memories through ancestors'
American author John Beiswenger wrote a novel called Link which published in 2002, in which a person in a lab experiences memories through the eyes of his ancestors.

US media research group Nielsen is reporting that the most anticipated games for American gamers were Assassin's Creed 3 and Halo 4. Other games hotly anticipated include Madden NFL 13 and Resident Evil 6.

As most gamers known by now, Assassin's Creed 3 will be taking place in the North American British Colonies during the American Revolution. Part of the reason the game will be taking place in the 1770's is that UbiSoft dismissed other possibilities, including World War II, Japan and Egypt as the "three worst settings" that were suggested by the internet community.

Ubisoft's creative director Alex Hutchinson has said to get the most out of Assassin's Creed III for PC you're better off plugging in a game controller, than using keyboard and mouse.
They're "definitely supporting PC," but "it'll be PC with a controller." Hutchinson says he doesn't see the studio "investing hugely" in a keyboard and mouse approach to the game.

Assassin's Creed 3 seems to be shaping up to be the biggest Ubisoft release in the publisher's long history, as it has already shattered the record for most preorders of an Ubisoft game. To give an idea of how badly the game is eclipsing other games in the franchise, there are already more preorders of Assassin's Creed 3 than Brotherhood, and over ten times as many preorders as Revelations.
