505 Games announce that Backbreaker: Vengeance will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade this June 29th, and on the PlayStation Network "later this summer."

With "new modes and moves" this new Backbreaker is the "total package" for fans. It emphasises on "pick-up-and-play" and "AAA appeal".

Backbreaker: Vengeance will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade, and what a long, strange trip it has been. Backbreaker was an American football game that boasted a realistic body-physics engine, but failed miserably both critically and commercially. However, one of the minigames was used as the basis of an iPhone game, Backbreaker: Vengeance. After the sequel was released on iPhone, publisher 505 Games and developer NaturalMotion have announced the XBLA version of the iPhone title.
