| Kickstarter graduate The Banner Saga from developer Stoic has been given a "mid-year" window for release. A multiplayer portion of the game, subtitled Factions, is in open beta right now. It's a turn-based, Viking-themed and story led strategy RPG. The goal is to lead our clan of Vikings to glory. Stoic is made up of just three people, and all are former BioWare devs. |

| Indie developer Stoic has announced that they will be releasing Banner Saga Factions in early November. The game is a free-to-play multiplayer version of The Banner Saga, which the studio earlier this year raised funding through Kickstarter. |
