UbiSoft is trying to quell rumors that Beyond Good & Evil developer Michel Ancel is not leaving the company, something that was spurred by Ancel's criticism of the decision to delay the Wii U version of Rayman Legends til the Fall to be released alongside the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of the game.

After creator Michel Ancel announced that Beyond Good & Evil 2 was being targeted for the next generation of consoles, Unseen 64 has posted a leaked video of the game's tech demo.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 has had a troubled development cycle, having an intriguing E3 2009 teaser, but almost no other information save conflicting reports that the game was either cancelled or that the game was still being worked on.

However, at an invite-only event in Montpelier, VT event, series creator Michel Ancel stunned attendees by showing off actual footage from the game.
