There's good news and bad news. Rockstar Games is shuttering their Vancouver studio which brought us Max Payne 3, and before that it was the delightful and controversial Bully.

Obviously that's the bads news, but the good news is that the 35 staff at Vancouver are being "offered the opportunity" to work at Rockstar's new and bigger studio in Oakville, near Toronto.

US State Representative wants 1% tax on "violent videogames"

Oklahoma state representative Will Fourkiller has proposed a state bill, HB 2696, which would charge a 1% tax on all games sold in the state rated Teen, Mature, and Adults-Only, with the money going towards the state's obesity and bullying prevention funds.

Rockstar North job ad talks of getting the most "from next-gen consoles"

The Grand Theft Auto developer is looking for Environment Artists to join their Rockstar North clan, and mentions applicants needing the skill to "get the most" from next-gen consoles.

Max Payne 3 releases this spring, now delayed until May, with Grand Theft Auto 5 releasing sometime after that. Both are Xbox 360 and PS3 bound, so after their release we go next-gen?

Rockstar eager to return to Bully IP

Many gamers have been clamoring for the return of Jimmy Hopkins, the star of Bully, and Rockstar is strongly hinting that they may revisit Bullworth Academy once Max Payne 3 is released. The game was originally released on the PlayStation 2 in 2006, then ported as the Scholarship Edition to the PC, Xbox 360 and Wii two years later.

Rumour: Rockstar has cancelled E3 "launch" for unknown project

Heartbreak alert - Rockstar Games have apparently decided to ditch an announcement for E3 2010 which would have launched a new game.

This rumour comes from Nuts associate editor Rory Buckeridge. Recently 'leaks' have put Grand Theft Auto V: Vice City at this E3. Salt pinches!
