It has been announced through Chart-Track that the FIFA franchise is the first video game series to collectively attain £1bn at UK retail. It did so spread across 40 released FIFA titles.
FIFA 12 and FIFA 13 alone contributed around £200m to the staggering figure. The second and third top video game grossing properties are Call of Duty and Mario respectively.

EA Sports' FIFA 13 has kept itself atop the UK all format chart for the sixth week, and its second time in 2013. The top five titles in fact haven't changed, leaving Far Cry 2 in second place.
Ubisoft's island shooter is followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in third, Hitman: Absolution fourth and Need for Speed: Most Wanted fifth. Just Dance 4 bopped it around Halo 4 taking sixth.

Activision has finally unveiled the Revolution downloadable content pack coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 with a four minute developer diary showing off all of the features that will be included.
