Dark Souls II's new engine allows 'subtle gimmicks' to be included
Co-director Yui Tanimura is excited with their new game engine for Dark Souls II because, not only does it get a graphical boost, but it also means they can add a lot of subtle treats for ambience.

A sizeable E3 banner for Dark Souls II reveals it will be releasing early next year in March. It seems to be heading for Xbox 360 and PS3, and not the next generation platforms despite the push into 2014.

Gamers petitioning for a Wii U version of Dark Souls II

It seems that Wii U owners don't want to be left out of Dark Souls II, so, much like PC gamers did with the original Dark Souls, they are petitioning for the game to be developed for their platform.

Namco Bandai has announced the sequel to their brutal fantasy game, Dark Souls II. The game was announced at the Spike Videogame Awards 2012 show.
