IGDA reacts to accusations of abuse at Trendy [UPDATE: Prez steps away from managing]

The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) has reacted to reports that Trendy Entertainment practiced abusive and sexist practices during the development of Dungeon Defenders and Dungeon Defenders II. Not surprisingly, the organization is disturbed by the reports.

[UPDATE: Kotaku is reporting that Stieglitz will no longer supervise staff on Dungeon Defenders II.]

Epic is proud of its new graphic engine, the Unreal Engine 4, but the developer doubts that it'll be featured much on the next generation of consoles that are reputedly arriving in 2013. According to executive Mark Rein, Unreal Engine 3 will be "the way to go" for most devs.

Reverb announces Unreal Engine 3 licensing agreement with Epic

Reverb Publishing has announced that the publisher has reached an agreement with Epic Games to reach a site license agreement with the Unreal Engine 3 engine. This means that Epic will be providing all development teams working with Reverb the full source code access to the latest UE3 technology and Epicís world-class technical support.
