Lionhead has "super secret second project" alongside Journey

Peter Molyneux says Kinect's Fable: The Journey, which "isn't on rail", uses "huge amounts of technology" from their cancelled 'tech demo' Project Milo.

The Lionhead Studios boss also teased they've got a "super secret second project" in development alongside it. He wouldn't elaborate any details.

Simon Carter, co-founder of Lionhead's Big Blue Box, has ended his time with the Microsoft owned studio after 10 years having helped create Fable.

It was a "very difficult" decision but there are "lots of new opportunities to pursue." Carter was also technical lead for Dungeon Keeper and part of Bullfrog.

Tomorrow, May 17th, is the official release for PC Fable III which retailed on Xbox 360 late last year. The original game was also released on PC - what of Fable II?

Lionhead's coders have already moved on to "new projects", reveals senior designer Mike West. The "time was right" for Fable III to cross over to the PC desktop.

BAFTA Fellowship winner Peter Molyneux talks about how the videogames space is a changing "incredibly fast" and that we're ahead of film and TV.

Cinema and television have "got to change within themselves" while videogames are constantly evolving. They're an "incredibly important force" globally.

While accepting his BAFTA Fellowship, Lionhead Studios' Peter Molyneux offered an apology and a thanks to the games press for "listening to my stuff."

He admits he's "slightly over-promised" on occasion and says he could "name at least 10 features" made up to "stop journalists going to sleep". Where's my acorn?!
