Molyneux 'sorry for making up features' to wake sleeping press

While accepting his BAFTA Fellowship, Lionhead Studios' Peter Molyneux offered an apology and a thanks to the games press for "listening to my stuff."

He admits he's "slightly over-promised" on occasion and says he could "name at least 10 features" made up to "stop journalists going to sleep". Where's my acorn?!

The creator of a 2D Fable adventure has been updating blogs detailing how he's gone about including canned features from Fable 1 & 2.

It's being put together as a "simplistic 2D retro-styled game," complete with economy, growing acorns, body morphing, weapon pickups...

Lionhead Studios' Peter Molyneux tells us to "forget about the word 'trilogy'" as it doesn't apply to the Fable series and its troubled world of Albion.

The veteran designer says he hates "limiting ourselves" with a trilogy, and teases Fable III's conclusion won't feel like a close to the hero franchise.

Lionhead Studios' Fable II for Xbox 360 was the victim of "huge design flaws" admits creator Peter Molyneux. Microsoft rated them "super black".

That's the colour for 'oh uh' when it comes to quality testing for bugs. Fable II was the first rated that bad. They had to "reduce down" the game.
