Handicapped gamers laud The Old Republic as \"most accessible\"

AbleGamers, an advocacy publication for disabled video game enthusiasts, awarded BioWare's MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic its Mainstream Game of the Year, as being the most accessible videogame.

The group cited The Old Republic for having "many accessibility options such as full subtitles, queue-able actions, multiple action bars, area looting, auto looting, and built-in mouse sensitivity." In addition, other design decisions the way characters face the enemy they're engaging, absolute control through the mouse or keyboard, and a colorblind-friendly scheme.

Microsoft's Forza Motorsport 4 will garage around 500 cars from 80 manufacturers with each car "like its own mini-level" before taking it out on the track.

Kinect can navigate the showroom and we're taught about the cars and their makers, of which Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson provided his voice.

Microsoft and Turn 10's Forza Motorsport 4 will have full integration with Kinect when it releases, having showcased a "Kinect-enabled project" at E3.

The tech demo at E3 2010 highlighted "experiences possible" with Kinect and Forza. The next instalment still has "controller-based racing", but also motion.

A new car pack, the Community Choice Classics Car Pack, is coming for Forza Motorsport 3 owners for 400 MSP that will include famous classic cars such as Ferris Bueller's Ferrari 250 California and the DeLorean DMC-12 from Back to the Future.

Capcom's Jun Takeuchi, producer of Lost Planet 2, has revealed that an unlikely game genre helped inspired the sci-fi shooter developer.

Turn10's Forza Motorsport 3 with its "streamlined interface" had quite the impact on Takeuchi and his team, and greatly influenced design.
