Rockstar Games know how to a market a game, which is mostly by just keeping their trap shut. Internet 'detectives' reckon they've unravelled the mystery of GTA V's lead character.

They point their accusatory casting finger at actor Ned Luke, for the role of 'Albert De Silva'. Fans believe his voice and likeness match the GTA V trailer. What does Twitter say?

Dan Houser admits that Rockstar Games keeping such a tight grip on information about their teams and a game's development "might annoy people" but it's to 'better their immersion'.

It's "really important" that games feel "kind of magical," and dishing on their processes would lessen that. Houser wants us feeling "this thing is alive," and losing ourselves in it.

A forum post from someone claiming to be a journalist from a UK PlayStation magazine has spilled alleged details of Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V, gleamed from a 30 minute demo.

They claim a "select few of our team" visited Rockstar North and enjoyed 30 mins of "in-game footage." The info they reveal is second-hand as they have not "personally, been privy" to it.

Take-Two and Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V will take place in a "re-imagined, present day" Los Santos in Southern California, and its immediate surroundings.

That rules out San Fierro and Las Venturas making an appearance like in GTA: San Andreas. We'll be after "the almighty dollar" in this "bold new direction in open-world freedom."

Hollywood tough guy Ray Liotta was not in the recent Grand Theft Auto V debut trailer, confirms the actor's representatives, who voiced Vice City's Tommy Vercetti.

Speculation was growing thick and fast that former 1980's protagonist Vercetti would be returning in GTA V, but Liotta's lack of involvement has taken the wind out of its sails.
