Guardians of Middle-Earth for XBLA gets 5th December release date
Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that Monolith Productions' console MOBA Guardians of Middle Earth will be released on Xbox Live Arcade on the 5th December.

Epic Games has announced that the company has hired WB Games Seattle general manager Laura Fryer to take over that role with the company. Fryer owns more than seventeen years experience in the industry, and worked for Microsoft as the executive producer of Gears of War and Gears of War 2.

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that Monolith's console MOBA Guardians of Middle-Earth will be available on the 4th December both on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, and also at retail. The retail version of the game will only be available for the PlayStation 3, with the retail version of the XBLA title coming at an unspecified time after.

Developer Monolith invited eight of the best MOBA players to test out their upcoming game Guardians of Middle-Earth for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, and showed the results in their developer diary "Seeing is Believing".

Lord of the Rings' Guardians of Middle-Earth from Monolith is their Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network MOBA game based off Tolkien's mega fantasy rich universe.
That means it has fans - lots of uber nerd fans. However Guardians of Middle-Earth will spit in the purists' eye, reveal Monolith, because characters need to be on 'equal footing'.
