Thomas Tippl, Activision CFO, has said the music franchise Guitar Hero "probably didn't receive" the right amount of "nurturing and care" to keep going.

There were other elements that "didn't make it conducive" to the rise of digital. Consumers "still have a lot of love" for Guitar Hero - lessons must be applied.

Kotick commands after all mega IPs Call of Duty and Guitar Hero. His 16th place profile even mentions him as the "Hitler of the Gaming Industry."
