Microsoft clarifies there are "no plans" for a Halo motion picture following rumours

Is Ridley Scott of Alien fame behind a new attempt at getting Halo on the big silver screen? No. Microsoft has negatively shook their corporate head at the idea, saying they have "no plans for a Halo motion picture".

Why would Microsoft share all that money from a big motion picture with a major studio? The corporate giant instead continues to explore "many elements," like TV and toys.

A few days ago, it was reported that Microsoft was working on a streaming service similar to Sony's Gaikai purchase, and demonstrated it by streaming Halo 4 to a Surface tablet as well as a Windows phone with "Xbox-level visual quality".

New information has been coming on this streaming service - it's to be called Rio.

343 Industries has announced that the Champions Bundle for Halo 4 will be released day. The DLC will run gamers 800 Microsoft Points. The bundle features three DLC packs in total, including the Steel Skin Pack, Bullseye Pack, and Infinity Armor Pack as well as bonus content.

Microsoft has revealed a new downloadable content pack for Halo 4 at RTX 2013, Rooster Teeth's convention in Austin, TX. The DLC pack is called the Champions bundle, which will be available on the 20th August.
