Black Ops 2, Xbox 360 lead US sales in January
The NPD Group has revealed the top selling games for January 2013, which was led by Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, continuing its domination of the market.
Furthermore, the Xbox 360 led for the 25th straight month with 281,000 unit sales. Neither Sony nor Nintendo revealed their hardware sales for January, however.

343 Industries has revealed that many Easter Egg surprises put in by the development team remain undiscovered in Halo 4's campaign. The team thought many would be found within days of launch. Not so.
The developer is now providing "some hints" to find these secrets, and warn time is running out for people to claim they found them first. Future Halo Waypoint bulletins will tease clues.

The Writer's Guild of America only recently included videogames for its writing awards, and the Guild has announced its nominees for the year of 2012.
UK chart led by FIFA 13, top five titles enjoy encore

EA Sports' FIFA 13 has kept itself atop the UK all format chart for the sixth week, and its second time in 2013. The top five titles in fact haven't changed, leaving Far Cry 2 in second place.
Ubisoft's island shooter is followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in third, Hitman: Absolution fourth and Need for Speed: Most Wanted fifth. Just Dance 4 bopped it around Halo 4 taking sixth.
