No bans for Halo 4 users "previewing or purchasing" Crimson Map Pack
Microsoft and 343 Industries is "currently investigating" the situation where Halo 4 gamers have found themselves banned after having got hold of the Crimson Map Pack following the 'leak debacle'.
The Crimson DLC appeared on the Xbox Live Marketplace at no cost, before Microsoft moved in. Those banhammered blame Crimson, but 343 Industries say it isn't at fault.

Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has just enjoyed its fifth consecutive week leading the UK all format chart, matching LEGO Batman 2 for number of weeks at the top spot in 2012.
Hitman: Absolution makes a surprising climb to second, while FIFA 13 keeps dribbling third for its sixth consecutive week. Halo 4, Need for Speed and LEGO LOTRO keep their posts.

Crimson Map Pack DLC now available for Halo 4

Major Nelson has announced that the Crimson Map Pack is now available for Halo 4. The DLC weighs in at 528.48 MB and costs 800 Microsoft Points. The DLC is free for those who purchased the War Games Pass, and it is advised that gamers who own the pass not purchase the map from Marketplace or they will be charged twice for it.

Huddled together for warmth in the tundra that is the December month of UK retail sales; Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Far Cry 3, FIFA 13 all remain frozen in place 1st, 2nd and 3rd for another week.
Just Dance 4 is up 4th, while Assassin's Creed 3 is also in for a repeat performance 5th. Hitman: Absolution is now garrotting 6th, with Halo 4 7th and NFS: Most Wanted 8th.

The Spike Videogame Awards highlighted Telltale Studios' episodic adventure game The Walking Dead: The Game, giving it the Game of the Year Award, as well as best Downloadable Game, Best Adaptation, Best Voice Actress (Melissa Hutchinson's role as Clementine), and Studio of the Year for Telltale itself.
