The upcoming Xbox Live Marketplace is a bit light, as the biggest upcoming content will be the Season Passes for upcoming Assassin's Creed 3 and Halo 4 downloadable content. The Nightmare on North Point DLC arrives for Sleeping Dogs in time for Halloween.

The upcoming Marketplace content for the next two weeks includes major titles like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Saints Row: The Third available from Games on Demand, while Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 makes its debut tomorrow. The major Collector 2 downloadable content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will also be launched, which includes the hyped Face Off duels.

Joy Ride Turbo officially announced

Microsoft has officially announced on the Play XBLA Blog the development of Joy Ride Turbo, which will be eschewing the Kinect functionality of the first Joy Ride, and will be using a regular controller. The game will also feature a new Stunt Park, which is described as "a vast, vibrant playground for your car where you can jump off cliffs, shoot out of a cannon, and more."

Microsoft's Kinect racer Joy Ride was deemed a failure by most reviewers, but it seems Microsoft is going to give it another go, as the Australian Classification Board has rated Joy Ride Turbo.

The game was rated "G" by the board, and was submitted by Microsoft on the 5th April.
