The remake of the classic original adventure game, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, has reached its $500,000 Kickstarter goal, with six days left of funding.
The developers have a new goal of $1,000,000, which would be quite the task to raise $500,000 in six days.

Back in October, Replay Games announced that it would be remaking the original Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It would seem that the game hasn't received the funding it had hoped to draw, because it has now appeared on Kickstarter.

Larry Laffer is one of the iconic adventure game icons whose star has fallen in recent years, having appeared in bombs like Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust. Larry creator Al Lowe is teaming up with Replay Games founder Paul Trowe to bring back the original Leisure Suit Larry games. The remakes will feature updated HD visuals and a more naturalistic comic style, starting with the original game, Land of the Lounge Lizards (itself a remake of the text adventure game Softporn Adventure.)
