| Mac Walters was the lead writer for Mass Effect 3, and he's confirmed that his talent for stringing words together is being put to work on the next Mass Effect which is "coming out of Montreal," and not Edmonton. Walters defended the original ending to Mass Effect 3 saying the reaction was from a 'vocal minority' with the majority not having an issue. BioWare eventually released the Extended Cut to address it. |

| Veteran voice actor Robin Sachs, who is best known for voicing the irascible mercenary Zaeed Massani from the Mass Effect series, has passed away at age 61; yesterday was the actor's birthday. Cause of death is unknown at this time. |

| BioWare ponders 'sequel or prequel' with new Mass Eff... (18) |
| Casey Hudson of BioWare has asked for the opinion of the fans on whether the studio should be looking to events taking place "before the trilogy, or after?" So far the consensus points forward. A sequel would likely mean the team will have to factor in many player decisions throughout the trilogy, while a prequel would only be constrained to already established canon. |
