A sequel would likely mean the team will have to factor in many player decisions throughout the trilogy, while a prequel would only be constrained to already established canon. |

| Casey Hudson of BioWare has informed the galaxy of Mass Effect fans that a new title is in development for the series, and they'd really like some feedback on what people would like to see. Already revealed by the studio is their desire to avoid a new player character echoing Commander Shephard. The design team certainly have a lore buffet to feast off for Mass Effect. |
