Dev: Pandemic was working on Mercenaries III, The Dark Knight game
Co-founder of Pandemic, Josh Resnick revealed in an interview two years after the developer was closed down that the company had been working on a third Mercenaries game as well as a video game adaptation of The Dark Knight when the company was shuttered.

Job listings at EA LA reveal they've an unannounced third-person shooter with "strong multiplayer focus" in the works, using the new Frostbite 2 engine.
It should have "strong storytelling" too reveals a Cinematics Engineer post ad. Rumour pegs it as Mercs Inc, Pandemic Studios' project before it closed.
