Following Jason Rubin's account of the rather terrible conditions developer 4A Games has to endure to stay in business, Metro: Last Light creative director Andrew Prokhorov responds to the former THQ boss.
Rubin was "the only THQ President" to visit them in their 10-year relationship with the publisher, and did so on his "second week" as the new boss. 4A strives to 'earn' better conditions.

The promised tweaking of FOV for PC Metro: Last Light has arrived with the latest update via Steam. This lets those dead sure they want more on screen edit a config file - against 4A's general advise - to cram more in.
Also attached in this update is a fix for AMD cards of the 7xxx variety where some pesky shadow corruption was causing mischief; it forced Metro into a 3:1 resolution on some TVs.

Metro: Last Light's 4A Games is that developer from... erm, er - where are they from? That's precisely the problem, says Jason Rubin - the former Naughty Dog man thrown the hot potato that was THQ.
Rubin is doing what he can to tell the story behind the game of Metro, and it's far, far from an ideal situation for any developer - or any company for that matter. Electricity would've been nice.
