Metro: Last Light launched in North America, launch trailer released

Deep Silver has announced that Metro: Last Light, the sequel to Metro 2033, is now available in North America for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will be launched on Friday, the 17th May, worldwide.

Dead Island publisher Deep Silver, new owners of Volition and the Saints Row IP, have described themselves as a "small, guerrilla tactics company," with COO Geoff Mulligan adding they 'don't want to go triple-A'.

Mulligan jokes that they're "much better than the Activisions, EAs, and Ubisofts" out there because, while they may be valued at billions, Deep Silver "make money." They also acquired Metro: Last Light.

Deep Silver recently acquired the Metro franchise from THQ in an auction, now the publisher is happy to confirm that Metro: Last Light will be released on 14th May, 2013 in North America and on 17th May, 2013 in Europe.
