THQ head of global communications Huw Beynon states that Xbox 360 owners will be "startled" by how much the 360 version of the Metro: Last Light resembles the PC version, even in terms of graphic fidelity.

4A Games multiplayer-less Metro: Last Light has just received a new marketing tool to stoke the flames of consumerism within us. THQ has released a new live action trailer entitled 'The Preacher'.

They delayed Metro: Last Light's release until March 2013. It features a "mocked and ignored" doomsayer who now reckons his "enlightened words are their only truth".

THQ had announced that Metro: Last Light would be coming to Nintendo's new console, the Wii U, even being part of Nintendo's sizzle reel at E3. However, THQ has stated that the game would not be going to the platform after all, stating it wanted to "focus on what we knew" (which was presumably the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.)

While it was assumed that the rejection was attached to THQ's financial issues, chief technical officer Oles Shishkovtsov stated that wasn't the case at all. The Wii U, simply put, was not up to the task.

THQ has announced some ominous news that the publisher will be delaying three of their highest profile games: South Park: The Stick of Truth, Company of Heroes 2, and Metro: Last Light.

When THQ formally announced Metro: Last Light back in May 2011, the publisher stated that it would feature some kind of multiplayer. However, developer 4A Games announced today on the official blog that that was "probably a mistake".
